Halloween party

Earlier this month we celebrated my oldest sister's fortieth birthday. It was a milestone birthday which is significant. All birthdays are very important in my opinion. Years have definitely gone by I could say. I remember my oldest sister and I as teenagers over twenty years ago. I'm grateful for all that my sister has done for me. I'm glad she had a great birthday. She decided to have a small gathering. Instead of having a traditional birthday cake she had a cheesecake. It was a celebration cheesecake from the cheesecake factory. It was actually our second time trying it. I thought it was good instead of having cake. On the fourth of October I went to the movie theater. I went along with my mom,sisters and nephew at nine pm. We decided to see a late night showing of the movie. Around that time there wasn't much of a crowd by that time. We went to see the smashing machine. It was a good movie in my opinion. The last time we saw a movie in theaters was last summer. That was on twenty twenty four of June. I don't go to movie theaters often as before. I mostly prefer to watch movies at home. Although I really liked going to the movie theater years ago. Throughout the month I was doing journal writing. I did poetry writing as well. Last month I focused more on writing than this month. There wasn't a particular reason why for that case. In the middle of the month I noticed having headaches for multiple days. At first I thought it was a sinus issue. Although I felt okay with no sinus issues happening. I took tylenol which worked at certain times. I will make an upcoming doctor appointment concerning that. It feels close to a migraine in my opinion. As of this moment I'm still experiencing some symptoms. At least it's tolerable at this time. My brother has been doing okay. He called us throughout the month checking on things. For Halloween I wanted to do something a bit different. In previous years I haven't really celebrated it completely as years ago. It's good to switch things up once in a while. I didn't decorate a lot for Halloween this year. The few decorations I have are from the dollar tree and walmart. I've gotten black and orange balloons for the party. I still want to decorate a little for autumn. Although the area I live in doesn't look close to being the fall season. Then again it's Florida weather after all. There are some who are decorating for Christmas right now. I plan to do that late November some time. I haven't exactly picked a Christmas theme as of yet. The shelves inside stores are getting filled with holiday items. A few days ago we went to krispy kreme donuts. My oldest sister went to buy the witches brew theme donuts. It was purple dyed donuts with orange and purple frosting. I thought they were good. As for Halloween I chose to have a small party. I spent the day with my mom, my sisters and nephew. Also my nephew's kitten is coming over for a few hours. I didn't get a costume or Halloween shirt. As I mentioned it's something different and fun to do. As of this time I will continue on with the night. I hope that everyone had a great month for October. I also hope for next month to be well. Peace until next time.
