I have a problem with small talk in real life.
It seems like whenever I want to talk to ANYBODY, the other end doesn't really carry on the conversation other than "OK" and "Cool." If it were me, I simply tell them to shut the hell up, to not make myself look boring.
I can blabber all about aviation and true crime and the camps in North Korea and the wars and whatnot, just you know that no one will even have the slightest hint about what I am talking about (other than what they get spoonfed on TikTok).
I don't have any matching interests. Conventional entertainment media (TV and video games) aren't even concepts to me. I am more of the factual kind. Recently, I've heard of a ton of non-fictional horror. Take A Child Called "It" as an example. It's a real-life memoir about the author's being abused as a child.
I think this is it for today.
