my vintage story chisels (cheesels)

an assortment of vintage story chisels i've done recently that i am proud of :) i still haven't made very much in this game, but i would like to make more! this game has absolutely gripped onto my brain and is not letting go any time soon 🐛🐛🐛🐛

anyhow! here's the first ever chisel project i made on this game, this rickety rope bridge!
this is utilizing both the BetterRuins mod for the craftable rope beams, as well as QP's Chisel Tools to tile the boards in the bridge! for anyone who's new to this game who may be reading, chiseling is a fully vanilla feature! though, qp's streamlines the whole process a lot

there's some imperfections here and there if you really look for them, but overall i'm still cheesed with this bridge hehe

onto the next chisel, this ones a much smaller scale... picnic table for me n my frands to sit at :) unfortunately this table doesn't get much use anymore as we changed base locations and this table got left behind, but i am still very happy with it ^o^

(tbh, we're planning to make a tavern soon... maybe i could re-use this design there?)

next up, this quaint li'l fireplace i made for my good friend clemens!! he already had the frame of the fireplace in-place before i came along and chiseled all over the place, but we both ended up really liking the end result hehe

the plant you see in this picture is called a beauty bush, and is part of the Floral Zones: East Atlantic Regions mod! there's a bunch of floral zone mods made by the same author that i really encourage people to check out, as i think they add soooo much nice greenery to the game

this next build is the first build i made at our group's new base location, and what do you know, it's Another Freakinge Bridge.... born out of necessity since we're setting up on both sides of the river! this river is part of a worldgen mod called Rivers, and i think they add a lot to the scenery! they're also a great form of travel by boat since they also come with a current

woah, two whole images for one build?? this is the kind of greed they talk about in the bible

the braziers you see on this bridge are from another aptly-named mod called Braziers, and i think they are quite cute for outdoor lighting :3c

while we've been setting up, our community mess hall was without a roof for Far Too Long. so i asked if i could roof it, and i snagged the "go-ahead" to do it >:3

this is my first time chiseling a roof at all, and honestly im suuuper pleased with the result... though i do have to be in a very specific mood in order to work on roofs at all LOL, its a little bit tedious even with helpful tools provided by QP's

so far, pretty much All of my chisels have been community-focused projects, and i've barely had time to work on me and micheal's house >_< however! my last 2 images i'll show are bits and pieces that i have gotten to work on, starting with these ominous cellar steps!

(no, seriously, i made this stairwell and have barely touched the actual meat and potatoes of the cellar LMFAO)

and finally, my MOST RECENT CHISEL..... this lovely window seat i made for our living room :3 I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY PLEASED WITH THIS ONE!!! this is my most favorite one yet!!! ♥ ♥

it just feels soooo cozy, i could sit here for hours... though, i wish there was more animations / poses in this game so that i can truly lounge around and Waste Time At Maximum Efficiency.

i actually started trying to fenaggle with my own emote mod to achieve this, though i have not been able to get it to work in any capacity x.x maybe one day i will have a larger brain for it....
