"Feminists back then were the real feminists!"

I'm sure everyone has heard this phrase or something similar someday in their lives. I think we can all agree this sentence lacks information and knowledge of feminism

Feminists are still the same as they were even 100 years ago. In fact, feminists back then used to be perceived as 'destructive' for burning down stuff and breaking objects around the streets as a way of protest, while people nowadays think that spraying on some monument is a sin. Kind of funny how they always try to make us seem like violent when we're fighting against that exact topic.

There is no 'real feminist', and that's something they don't like to listen to. Feminists fight for equal rights, for those women who were silenced, abused, discriminated and a lot more. They hate to know that women have the capacity to have empathy for those in need of help, they hate to see us trying to do something for this collapsing world. Isn't it devastating? How they're always going against us for not wanting to submit to them, and demonizing us every chance they get to do so.

Worst part is, they're the same people who only see women as trophies/objects, not as people themselves. They only see them as maids, as servants, as slaves for them to take control of whenever they want to. Most of the time, these are perceived as children with innocence that they want to destroy and own. They do not like to see us actually complaining about their actions and perceptions towards us, because they hate to lose control.

We've only just started being equal to the opposite gender, while other countries still maintain child marriage as part of their 'religion'. This simple sentence that I've put as the topic to talk about only ever speaks ignorance and misogyny. Unfortunately, that's the truth, and yet these words will be passed down to generations of women and men. What good are we doing here? None, because people always want to go against what is truly effective for everyone and not themselves. Selfish.
