cool writing system: baybayin

o hey i forgot about spacehey blogging time 4 a new one i guess

so i rlly like baybayin, this abugida script that the philippines had before being replaced by the latin alphabet. maybe it's because i'm part filipino, but i am strangely drawn to this script. it just looks fire to me idk. it's unicoded, so i can write it lol ᜄᜀᜈᜓ ᜃᜐᜋ i don't actually have a baybayin keyboard, i just copypasted it from this site

i'm even making my own unique script based off of it with special focus on the curviness and swirliness of the original baybayin, specifically the ba ᜊ and u ᜂ characters. i also took some inspiration from this one picture of the cham script from vietnam that i saw on wikipedia. almost all of its characters have that ba aura of swirliness to them, it's astounding! honestly just writing baybayin is fun, i wish i could read and understand tagalog more so i could appreciate it fully.

i wanna make a conlang that uses this script, it would be rlly fun. speaking of which, i needa make that conlang page on my website, it's been wip forever ;-;
