quick life updates(2025-10-28)

i'm writing this on my phone in the planned parenthood lobby waiting for my hrt follow up. i paid $128 to be here. i'm pretty excited for things, i think they might let me increase my dosage/give me the injectable stuff so pretty exciting developments.

in terms of school, i've been kinda blowing off my responsibilities there. i really gotta start pulling my academic weight if i wanna go anywhere in academia or whatever i choose to do with this (silly) degree.

i quit my job, which was paying pretty well but i knew would stress me tf out trying to get all of my classwork done AND participate in extracurricular(s) AND have a social life irl AND hang out with my family. i'm currently looking, but i really wish i could either get a peer mentor job at my uni ($12/per, 15 hours max) just for the sake of stability. my only other option is freelance tutoring or babysitting (btw, if anyone needs a babysitter hmu here or on insta and i can send my resume, yes im being fr). honestly freelance tutoring isnt bad at all ($24/hour, no max. ir min.), but so far i only have 1 consistant client... maybe i'll get more uptick, but for now i gotta scower every corner of indeed in hopes of finding something near my apartment. oh well.

i think that's it, if i think of more to say i'll write another blog/add and edit.
