my top bands/artists EVER

my favorite bands EVER (since birth nearly)

hi peoples... if you couldn't tell already i LOOOOOOOVE music :3 a lot of the bands/artists on this list are ones that have stuck with me throughout most of my life ^^ ok ok enough yapping...

1. 311

311 is a reggae-rock, ska-rock, dad rock, type band. my dad loves them, so of course their music was played A LOT around me. i've always loved them as long as i can remember! it's my dream to be able to go to a 311 show with my dad someday... fun fact, there was a night last year my parents were going through family vids and in one of me you could hear 311 playing! i guess that video explains why i like the music i like :'] surprisingly enough, my mom absolutely does NOT like 311. it's a bit upsetting because me and my dad share a strong bond through their music and my mom doesn't like them :(( but i definitely get it.

2. Dave Matthews Band

dmb was one of those bands that got pretty popular in the 90s/2000s but didn't stay famous enough to be a household name. i'd say they're more mom rock, considering all of the now moms back then swooned over dave matthews... my parents used to go to shows pretty much ever since they got married, but sadly the last year they went was 2018 or 2017. things started getting more expensive, dave started getting too political for my parents, and life was busy. my mom has since then lost interest, but i think i've gotten my dad back into them hehe >:3 he even out of the blue said he's thinking about maybe bringing me to a show! they play at our local ampitheatre every year so if he does bring me, i'll be beyond happy!!

3. twenty one pilots

my sister introduced me to twenty one pilots in 2016, but i still consider them a band that's stuck with me. i even remember the night i been introduced to them! my mom and i had just gotten back from a walk and my sister was watching the lane boy mv on the tv in the living room and i instantly fell in love. since then i've been lucky enough to see them last year in boston with my mom. i also managed to get both of my parents into twenty one pilots!
