Criticism towards edtwt is weird

Yes, it does need criticizing but i feel like ppl aren’t doing it the right way. This applies to all types of problematic communities like shtwt and etc. When ppl criticize these communities they just end up targeting deeply ill individuals and making fun of them. Esp that one guy on tiktok that’s obsessed with girls with eds😭 That’s just harassment at that point..  The real criticism should be towards the hypocrites who say they are pro-recovery and maker fatspo threads and post pro ana shit. You should criticize adults who know better but still teach young kids disordered eating and make their eds worse. The ppl who make others spiral deeper into their illnesses. Not ppl who use the platform as a coping mechanism. 

And please don’t troll these ppl saying they’re fat and stuff cuz then ur doing the same thing you’ve been criticizing. “Oh but they are on edtwt so they must be terrible ppl and racist and fatphobic and etc..” that doesn’t matter? Don’t become the thing you were against. Just report any dangerous content like purging tips or starving tips cuz ts is so harmful for young vulnerable kids. 

Don’t harass struggling ppl, just try to stop those who try to make others worse by clearly being pro ana and giving tips and shit

(Kinda off topic but)Also shtwt constantly saying “cutspo” to ppl who are clearly going through a hard time is so weird. Yk you can just say “stay safe” or sum right?
