Australian social media ban

I really like being able to talk to my friends online and I feel like the government is genuinely trying to strip them away from me

It's official btw too. 6 weeks of tiktok, YouTube, discord, even snapchat for crying out loud. I've had these all for so long and the fact I can't use it anymore really upsets me 

It's all because of cyber bullying and abductions which yes are wrong but they're acting like it's everyone else's fault that some people were abducted 

You all remember those punishments in primary/elementary where one kid did something wrong so the WHOLE class got punished? That's what this feels like to me

and as for the school part that's stupid because really?? For cyberbullying?? 'hey someone's getting bullied in a real school, let's burn down every school that exists because of it!' 

They don't think around the box to help the people, they punish them instead with something that's supposed to 'help' them

The government are a bunch of stupid fat fucks who instead of being good people and getting rid of the people who actually make child safety an issue nuke it entirely because they're too fucking lazy to properly help
