IM BEING EDWARD FOR HALLOWEEN

Guysss, so basically I'm being Edward Scissor Hands for Halloween and I have absolutely no idea what to do for the knife hands. I was thinking of using paper but then if they got wet they would just rip, and butter knives would look dumb. So maybe card bourd, but I have no idea. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS!!!
