Child rights, children are not alright

Right to Safety and Life

Every child, regardless of identity, nationality, age, or biological traits, has the right to a safe life with their parental or chosen guardians until they no longer feel it is needed. A person is to be considered a child up to the age of 18.

All children have the right to live in a safe and inclusive environment, free from abuse, violence, or harm—including war, unsafe conditions, trafficking, and violations of privacy. This extends to private spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and online settings, protecting them from hacking, blackmail, or exploitation.
All children have the inherent right to life.

Right to Autonomy — Legal, Daily, and Bodily

All children should have the legal ability to consent and maintain full control over their legal and medical decisions.

Every child has full authority over their body and personal choices unless those choices lead to harmful behavior such as bodily harm, harm toward others, or self-neglect and abuse (as defined by health and safety standards, not parental opinion).

No child shall be forced into medical, educational, or social obligations without their informed consent.
No restrictions based on parental or guardian consent shall be considered lawful except in cases involving bodily harm, harm toward others, or self-neglect and abuse.

Right to Emancipation and Legal Recognition

Every child has the right to seek legal independence (emancipation) without parental retaliation or legal consequence.
Children have the right to pursue education, employment, and residence free from age-based discrimination, provided it does not result in bodily harm, harm toward others, or self-neglect and abuse.

Right to Labor and Economic Participation

Every child has the right to work, choose their labor, and control the fruits of that work.

Parents or guardians do not have the right to control a child’s finances unless the funds come from government aid specifically provided to the parent for the child’s care.

All labor must be safe, fairly compensated, and voluntary—never coerced.

Children may engage in economic activity to support themselves or their communities as they choose.

this concludes part 1.....now a message about my home life

/-/-/--//--///--//--//-//-/--//--/-/--/-/-//--/-/-/-/-//--/-//-/-/-/-/--//-/--//--/-/-//--/-/-//--/-/-/-//--/-//--/-//--/-//--//-/-/--/-//-/--/-/-/-//--/-//-/--Hello, good morning and salutations. you can call me paris I am 16 years old, transgender, and currently stuck in an abusive home situation. I need to escape, so I’ve decided to pursue emancipation. To do this, I need safe housing, and I’ve started a GoFundMe to help pay for a van conversion that I plan to buy. The funds will go toward purchasing the van directly and converting it into livable space. I will also be working most days to cover as much of the cost and the title as I can, but the rest will be supported by donations. The abuse I have experienced has been both emotional and physical. I am transgender, and my abuser refuses to acknowledge that I am a boy. I was violently abused as a toddler and nearly killed on multiple occasions. Despite the insults, constant arguing, and ongoing mistreatment, I have decided that seeking emancipation is in my best interest—for both my mental health and safety. My depression and anxiety have been greatly amplified by this environment, and I hope to create a safer, more stable life for myself. CPS HAD ALREADY BEEN INVOLVED AND DOES NOT CARE
