My dad thinks im pathetic. I've been unable to get an internship and get a footing with stuff and he acts like im not caring about it, but I do i really do. Its just hard to start.
I mean I barely have any work experience so getting an internship is hard and I can tell he thinks im some kind of dumbass incapable of anything.
As I get older I know he thinks poorly of me in regards to my approaches to my priorities. I feel stupid and lost.

Hey, I hope you feel good when you are reading this. First of all, I am so sorry to hear about all that.
I know you are in a hard situation, and I have been in a similar situation like that. My relationship with my dad wasn't the greatest. My dad made me feel so small and so pathetic for a lot of things that I had done in my life.
I had done a lot of mistakes, and that's okay , because I am a young person in the end of the day. Mistakes mean experience. The way your dad is making you feel is not acceptable at all.
You are not pathetic. An internship doesn't define you. And the way your dad thinks about you doesn't define you at all.
You are giving him too much power against you. And it's okay , because in the end of the day, he is your dad.
And we are curving our parents to like us and to give us respect But that's not the case all the time Sometimes our parents are going to look at us down.
And that's okay. But it's not okay to feel like you are pathetic You are not pathetic.
Again, your dad and the way he looks at you does not define you. You are young. You have a lot of things to do in life.
You have a lot of plans to do in life. It's okay. If one or two things don't go right, life will not stop
Again, please, I'm begging you, don't be sad over that and don't feel pathetic. You are more than this.
