Ugh, I hate school. Sounds kind of overused, right? I don't care. Most of the school program won't be useful to me. Who will I be? An animator. Right now I'm learning to make animations in programs and mastering them, plus I go to art school. Essentially, I'm gaining knowledge for my future profession at home and at the place I pay for. Why should I learn the chemical table if I won't be using it in my life?
it's annoying feeling forced to learn things you may not care about, but being educated in many things makes you a more well rounded person. it builds more than just the knowledge you find trivial. i saw someone compare math problems to pushups; the periodic table is like doing pushups for your brain. you can memorize facts and forget them right after you don't need them if you feel like it, but it's worth it to try and take what you can from classes, especially if they're something you're paying for
