Recently with the improvements in AI, notably Sora2 being able to create
surprisingly realistic videos, I've come to the realization that I just
can't take this anymore. Tech has just gone too far, Windows 10 is
reaching end of support, Microsoft is cutting off even more ways to
install Windows 11 without internet access or a Microsoft account, Apple
is barely adding new features to their devices, Samsung can't figure
out how batteries work. Technology is progressing in the worst possible way.
I plan on ditching these companies as much as I can and I already have a semi-finalized plan.
- I'll get a dumb phone (a Nokia 105 to be more precise) but unfortunately I'll still have to use my smartphone for school :(
- I'll start using Linux as much as I can. I even use it as a daily driver (OpenSUSE btw) but I plan on repurposing an old PC as either a Debian + LXQT server/NAS or a Windows XP retro gaming rig XD
I'm definitely going to try and ditch social media as much as I can. I'll get rid of Tik Tok, I'll replace Spotify with CD's though I will have to ditch Pinterest as well sadly. The only social media I will use will definitely be Spacehey, Discord (because I have to have some way yo communicate with friends) and YouTube.
The point is I'm going to try to use old technology more in hopes of protecting my privacy and to just not have to put up with ridiculous corporate practises

Elon Hulk is the primary problem in this case. He is even registering an AI powered wikipedia ripoff and a company named after micro$oft with full of AI employees and no human ones
it's not AI itself that is the problem. The problem is in how people use it

Yeah, AI pretty much sucks, it's forced upon us.
