Pink Floyd :D

Wowowow first time doing just an artist hehe, I super enjoy Pink Floyd I can't say I've really gotten into them (aka I don't know their story or drama yk) BUT I enjoy some of their music def. I've kinda gone in and out of listening to them over the years and I feel that actually makes me like them more, they've always been there during really important times so today imma share some of like the most important songs to me I guess :)

1. Wish You Were Here

this one reminds me a lot of a friend I had when I was younger, I moved about every 2 years as a kid and he was like my first real friend that I actually kept in touch with, I'd been friends with this other girl a few years earlier but we didn't keep in touch so much. Anyways, 2 friends by age 11 go me frfr. Anyways me and this guy kept in touch and this song always just reminds me of him. The way he stuck around through all the years and all the changes I thought he was going to be like my soulmate cause I'd never had anyone stick around like that. He was monumental to some of my change and I wouldn't be who I am now without him. Now that were both in college (and we've lived several states away for almost 8 years) we've drifted apart a bit. I do know if I ever needed something, someone to come and pluck me out of a bad situation or someone just to call and talk to, I know he'd be there in a short 14 hours. I needed him and I'm thankful for him, he will always have a place in my heart.

My best friend Kay (who I might mention on her once in a while) I was getting deep into Pink Floyd and for my 17th birthday we went on a drive (in her MANUAL honda fit, I love that thing) and we listened to the entirety of Dark Side of the Moon. I was doing it to show her how cool the album was but also I think she knew I needed that, just a moment yk. Anyways, many great memories with Pink Floyd, I saw recently they have something new coming out its Wish You Were Here 50 and I haven't looked too much into what it is but I do have it presaved lol, I'm excited to hear it I guess lol (it comes out Dec 12 for those wondering, it looks like it might just be a compilation of various recordings from Wish You Were Here the album plus potentially some stuff from Dark Side of the Moon it looks like? Idk but i'm excited)
