One Shot, A Thousand Echoes: The Death of Charlie Kirk

One Shot, A Thousand Echoes: The Death of Charlie Kirk

I've wanted to write on this topic for some time now, but since my emotions were high and my mental clarity wasn't all there, I figured it was better to wait until now. I do not apologize for my beliefs or understanding of politics. I do not apologize for my expression of conservativism and right-winged stature. Even on a platform that quite rarely people are found expressing conservative ideas, which I believe should be far more encouraged than it is.

I do not apologize for being absolutely DESTROYED at the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

I'm even more disgusted by the public's inhumane reactions which included open celebrations, social media posts proclaiming joy over his death, news articles instantly published with the intent and attempt to dishonor his name, and the hate from those who considered themselves "superior" to Kirk and what he stood for. Take a look at yourselves and that which you are so highly against. Are your reactions really your own? Or are you reacting based on how others say you should?

If this had happened to a left-wing figure, the media would overcrowd with candlelit vigils, hashtags flooding every platform, celebrities crying on talk-shows, and news anchors calling it a national tragedy. But because it was Charlie Kirk, a conservative, a fighter for truth and what's right, the silence was deafening. Or what's worse, the celebrations are loud.

     Instead of mourning, they mocked.

     They didn't pause.

     They posted.

That tells me everything I need to know about the state of this country and the very people who claim to care about justice.

When I found out that Charlie Kirk died, I was in a deep state of shock, crying the rest of the day while praying for him and his family. It's gut wrenching, heartbreaking, and words aren't enough to explain the positive footprint he left on our world. As I'm writing all this it feels unreal to me that I ever would need to, and it makes my heart sink to my stomach from shock and disbelief even now. He was one of the first influential figures who led me into the conservative path that would later become my lifestyle. He was one of the first people who helped me understand and live by the famous saying, "If you stand for nothing, you fall for anything". He was this catalyst for change in the lives of millions, and a martyr for truth.

You don't have to agree with everything Charlie Kirk believed or said. But if you think it's okay to cheer for a man's death because he challenged your worldview, it's time to ask yourself what you really stand for.

Now for all the conservatives who are reading this. Even never having known Kirk personally, it hurts like I lost an old friend, and this seems to be the common feeling we all have in response to his passing. Even through our pain and our grief, we are made stronger as a people by his death. But if you're afraid to speak out because you saw what happened to him, it's time to speak louder. Because silence is exactly what they want, and I personally refuse to give it to them.

Charlie's life was cut short by a deeply disturbed and troubled man, who many conservatives including me, struggle to find in their hearts to forgive. But forgiveness is what sets us apart from them. The forgiveness and love that we extend even to those who wish to silence us, those who wish us harm, and those of us who stand with Charlie. He would've wanted us to unite together exactly how we have been, to seek God, and to extend God's love and grace within us for those that society deems unworthy of receiving.

In the title I claimed that one shot left a thousand echoes in our world after Charlie's passing, but in reality, the echoes of his voice and his beliefs are far larger than numbers can accurately describe. He left shockwaves in people's hearts, and his death provided the final push that many of those who were without guidance needed, in order to establish their own identity in upholding conservative values, some even picking up their faith. On September 10, 2025, only the body of Charlie Kirk was murdered. His fighting spirit lives on in you, in me, and in anyone that chooses to honor his legacy.

As stated in Matthew 10:28, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Let that verse serve as a reminder that no earthly pressure, person, nor system, has ultimate power over our souls, and that truth is our strength when people lie and even kill to hide it. Those of us who mourn stand stronger united, and as long as we don't lose ourselves and our faith in the midst of tragedy, we have the power within us to forgive and to overcome with honor, a loss as devastating as the loss of Charlie Kirk.

I will not mourn a man who would've celebrated my death. He was a god-awful shithead.

He didn't deserve to die the way he did, no one does. But he sure as hell doesn't deserve to become a hero or a martyr. Normalize not celebrating someone's death, while also still calling out how shitty of a person they were.

WHAT? Absolutely WILD post here. Charlie was not some sort of "martyr for truth" or a follower of Christ. He spread nothing but hate, fear, and lies. I do not hate him, as I'm a Christian, but you can NOT say his "fighting spirit lives on." Charlie is currently sad, angry, and regretful in hell. He never repented for his sins, nor turned people to truth.

I feel bad for him, and wish he wasn't killed when he was so he had a potential to turn to God an repent for his actions, spreading love and the message of Jesus, but he did not.

Charlie was ok beside the fact he supported Israel. I believe he is still alive and if you look at the shooting you'll see how fake it is. They sacrificed his role not the person. Then again this is my belief. I find that he taught good laws, and that he disliked ideas that should be disliked. His wife also is a podophile who owns a children orphanage in Romania. She was involved with a charitable initiative called "Romanian Angels," which worked with Romanian orphans. And Romania if where all these kids go missing. Ion think this is a coincidence, or some random killing by some random guy.

I never really liked charlie. I’m not saying you can’t. Um just saying that what he said about people like me and others was not okay. There’s a difference between him and a leftist. People on the left are progressive, that’s literally the whole thing. Most people don’t care and support others that Charlie has hated. I don’t think it would’ve been the same.
Charlie shouldn’t have been killed, but I don’t think he should’ve been platformed either. I Hope you understand where a lot of people are coming from. He hurt people and got away with it for so long.
I understand how you can feel so devastated, but I hope you know how much hate he spread. It made my life and others live’s harder, and again, that’s not okay.
Whatever, bye

ALSO
what do you mean Charlie wanted all of us United??????????? That is untrue. He wouldn’t have said the things he did if he wanted that!
