"They say judge not, and yet they condemn to hell whoever stands in their way. In letting God sit in judgment they judge themselves; in glorifying Ged they glorify themselves; in demanding that everyone show the virtues which they themselves happen to be capable of-still more, which they must have in order to remain on top-they assume the grand air of man struggling for virtue, of men engaging in a war that virtue may prevail”
-Friedrich Nietzsche
The notion that a god which transcends human form, who is all-powerful an all-knowing, is still hindered by the burden of human emotion. If God loves, then God must also hate. If God forgives, he must also judge. If God is plagued by this, he may sin. Human emotion is disgusting and messy, but also beautiful and shattered, such a celestial being would not be bothered with such trivial things. Projecting the fragile human image onto a god is impossible! I rather believe he is indifferent, on a distant plane of reality, exploding in knowledge and conciousness.
also here is a batman fanfiction from when i was 12
The bat stalks the lone night. Though accompanied by the faint gleam of the moon, he remains forsaken, hidden behind the mask of the loved. But is it real love, he ponders, or is it a desire to be noticed? It’s much closer to gratitude, a sense of regard and credit that is believed to be deserved.
He’s only seen behind the mask, not the pain wilting behind it. He likes to imagine while standing atop his fictitious stage, he becomes stuck between the moving cogs of time, and no sequence of words strung together could describe the immeasurable sense of futility that washes over him. He believes the prismatic glow in children's' eyes that create kaleidoscopes along the crowds is just the artificial flame of passion that once lived amongst.
It leaves him very unsettled.
