Bug question

So there are multiple worm like things in my room in the carpet (that didn’t originate from the carpet and most likely rotting food that’s been cleaned out) and it’s very VERY small,whiteish color and it doesn’t seem like a baby maggot or something like that idk what it is but I’m pretty worried about it 

Idk I just pray it’s not a infestation 

Also some more stuff is that there are fruit flys there so yeah

I’m worried that these worm things will crawl into my skin so something like that
