D4VD CASE INFO ARCHIVE (please let me know if any of the following info is misinformation. I will change it.)

It is very important to note while reading this archive that David was not and is not currently considered a suspect by the LAPD. All of the following information is neutral and not to say that David Burke is guilty of the murder of Celeste Rivas. The purpose of this archive is solely to have a spot to store and archive information that actively comes out about this case, and for people to use the information in this archive as they please. Initial Evidence

On September 8th, 2025, a "foul smell" was reported to be coming from a black Tesla issued into the Hollywood tow yard. The Tesla was registered under the name of David Anthony Burke, AKA: d4vd. At the time of the discovery of the body, David was touring for his Withered tour and (UNCONFIRMED) in the Chicago area as he had performed on the 19th of that same month. 

Police later released information that the body had already been decomposed and found in pieces (severed head, torso, and limbs) in a bag in the Tesla's "hood trunk." The body was confirmed as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas. Forensic evidence revealed that she had the same "shhh" tattoo on her right index finger, exactly like David.

Online Evidence

Multiple clips online show what is thought to be Celeste Rivas with him in the 2022–2023 time-frame. A picture has been released of David allegedly paying off Celeste's friends to stay quiet about their relationship. It's hard to make out if it is for sure David or not since it is just a picture. We can only assume that is what was going on in the picture. There is also a picture of what is thought to be Celeste's hand with a ring on her ring finger with the name "David" in cursive with what looks like henna or red tattoo ink on the same finger.

Celeste's teacher's video

 A video later came out from an anonymous user with an anonymous teacher claiming to be Celeste Rivas and her friend's teacher. He is shown frantically explaining his side of the story and showing what he says, is pictures of Celeste Rivas and her friend exchanging "stuff with the alleged rapper." The teacher claims that she was missing back when he taught her. He claims that Celeste met this rapper on social media named David that was based in LA. The teacher says that David "came and got her", "ran away from home", and "was gone for, like, a month." The teacher says that the cops found Celeste in Hollywood and brought her back but she had disappeared again in May of that year. The teacher claims that that is what Celeste's friends told him but there is no confirming if any of this is true. Please take it with a grain of salt.

Evidence Pt.2

The police searched David's house with a warrant on September 17th, 2025. The purpose of the search was to test walls, floors, sink drains etc. for blood or bodily tissue of Celeste Rivas. It is unconfirmed if any of the tests came out positive or not, but for now we can assume they were not positive otherwise there would be news about it. The police seized a laptop and a few other items from the search but there is no news on them yet. David has since then terminated his lease on the Hollywood Hills property after the police raid.
