your political stance, or even a lack of one, is important to me. if you are not mature enough to understand/grasp current events, despite my efforts to educate those around me—i find that concerning.
i was also really disappointed to see that many of my moots in the alt community haven’t posted anything about the corruption and killings happening in our country, as if they don’t care.
what’s even worse is that they actually live in these areas.
i was shocked because i thought they’d be politically aware like many others in the alt community are. i’m not sharing this because i’m being nosy—it’s just really disheartening.

If your entire personality is derived from the design of a political party, then you're kinda not worth being around. It also doesn't make you very alt... Far from it, in fact.
I remember when being alt actually stood for something more than being a shill for the Democrat party. Back when we understood that both parties were just a bunch of rich assholes who thought they could tell us what to do. It's a shame really.
Go on now, call me a nyhatzie or something. I know the drill.
I'm from a corrupted country, it's reasonable this kind of personality.
We're being robbed these politicians through flood control projects
and infrastructure.

Sometimes, it's not that people don't care, but they become burnt out, numb, or disillusioned because they don't think they can help. Constantly thinking or talking about such things can drag peoples' spirits down.
Have you asked your friends how they feel about these topics, or have you assumed their stance due to their radio silence?
