I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday (all 4 all at once) and at first I was perfectly fine just a little groggy from the laughing gas and then came the first terrible issue.... I had to pick up my prescriptions from shoppers drug mart and they were supposed to have it ready for when I got there because these are VERY time sensitive as the freezing wears off and the pain starts to come in. They however did not (emphasis on NOT) have it ready when I got there and made me wait 40 MINUTES BEFORE THEY EVEN STARTTTEEDDDD FILLING IT. I was SCREAMING in pain and even when I did get my first round of pain medication it didn't help at all because I was already in so much pain. Then once things start to calm down and I get settled into my every 3 hours alternate between the 2 and then I decided to go to sleep because I was feeling pretty relaxed and it was a bit later than my usual sleep time... I kid you not 4 hours later I wake up and my face is swelled to the size of a balloon and I am once again in excruciating pain so then I take what I need and wait for it to kick in and fall back asleep. I think I got like 6 hours of sleep last night because it just hurt so bad for so long. Then my family wakes up and I realise... My mouth is so swollen I literally cannot talk so I've had to communicate through writing and gestures. Even when I'm not in pain the swelling just makes me so uncomfortable because I'm just sitting here and my skin is pulled so tight around me. I really just want the pain to end I'm trying so hard to stick through this with a good attitude but I'm just so tired and in pain. The only thing getting me through this is my cat sleeping peacefully next to me or cuddling up in my lap. When I make it out of this I'm going to appreciate food and not being in pain so much more because this is just tortureĀ
