Duckie photo album so far

So I've shared some photos of the ducks in the past, but honestly I should memorialize them here!

They've grown so much since I got them about 2 weeks ago!

Name: Cosmo

Species: Khaki Campbell

Aliases: The extrovert, the crackhead

Favorite snacks: Watermelon, peas, and potatoes


She is the one who roosts all the other ducks out of the brooder because she cannot handle being alone for any length of time. She also doesn't want the humans to leave the room or else she will cry very loudly, causing the other ducks to also cry very loudly. 




Name: Nelly

Species: Muscovy

Aliases: The Princess, the Diva

Favorite snacks: Watermelon and bugs

She is the smallest of the bunch, and is spoiled rotten. She gets cold super easily, so she is always making her sisters huddle around her. She hates people with cold hands, and will let you know if she has any grievances. However, she does like pets if you warm up your hands, but be careful! She will also try to bite you or rip off any watches/hair ties from your wrist!



Name (Right): Zuzu

Species: Khaki Campbell 

Aliases: Cuddlebug, Wet Head

Favorite snacks: Watermelon, peas, potato

She was previously the smallest of the group, but has outgrown everyone! Zuzu loves cuddles and will fall asleep in your arms if you stroke the side of her head. She also almost always has a wet head because she submerges her entire head into the water whenever she drinks. 



Name: Buttercup

Species: Muscovy 

Aliases: The Dinosaur, Buttercup the Destroyer, The Flying Buttercup

Favorite Snacks: Bugs, Watermelon, Peas, Potato


She was formerly the biggest of the group until Zuzu outpaced her. She is the quietest of the group and is always on the prowl for good food, always keeping her head low to the ground. She also had a funny habit when she was young: Every time someone would pick her up, she would spread her wings as if she was flying, and correct course with them whenever you would tilt her. She's also surprisingly the calmest and most relaxed when picked up, but I also think she may crave meat because of her love of bugs, and also because she keeps trying to eat people's fingers and the feet of her sisters lol!
