On September 11th, 2025, Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck in front of a whole college in Utah while he was debating with the students about guns. Four days ago when it happened, my mother and I saw the news and saw the graphic video. Speechless. Almost all videos have been banned from the internet due to its gore content, but you can still find it on Twitter.
I did watch a little of Charlie Kirk on Jubelee or his prove me wrong videos but I didn't exactly like him. I didn't hate him either. He did say unhumanly things like supporting Isrrael or saying that he'd make his daughter have a baby if she was raped, he also supported MAGA movement so he did partly deserve it. Still, I was very surprised when I saw the video, I never imagined seeing someone like him getting shot in the neck, losing his consious as he bled to death. Everyone was terrified, running away from the scene, hoping to not be shot as well.
The person who shot him was a man who did not aggree with his beliefs, but I think his own father took him to the police. Trump says he wants to a death sentance for Kirk's murderer, which I aggree with because it is 100% proved that he shot him on purpose just because he didn't like it. He took someone else's life, and life is a human's right that can not be denied, so what's fair is for that person to pay the same price.
I personally think he kind of deserve it, he himself said he agreed with guns in America, but then again, he was human, he had a wife and two daughters... It's sad, mostly because of the family, I feel sad because of the family.

taking someones life isnt the same as being killed by the state or even private institution (death penalty). the murderer should be sentenced to life in prison, not the death penalty which is just plain cruel. most people on death row spend years, even decades there, being mistreated. i encourage you to do research on the death penalty and why it isnt good, and it isnt justice
at the end both are dead. it's fair. you take someone's life away, you lose your right to live. it's as simple as that.
