feminity, masculinity, and society

Its not the idea of a woman that is disrespected and seen as weak or less capable, its femininity. Women are seen as feminine by society's standard of what feminity is, because theyve been pushed into that role from the patriarchy. The technological/2nd industrial revolution pushed out the beauty trends, adding another way to be oppressed, and another thing to be seen as female (since it was a rule for the feminine/women of society). Women are seen as partners, but their tie to society's idea of femininity makes them less desirable as a human being. Not sure how to word that, sorry if it sounds weird... but i'm thinking of it how looksmaxxers care so much about "the perfect male" and peak masculinity, that the sick group disregards the actual preferences of the sex theyre attracted to. Cause lets face it, looksmaxxers are ugly. Im not a women, but born one, and I can tell you, theyre ugly as shit! They look to the masculine for validation, as well as critiquing the feminine. That also ties into the restrictive ideas of modern society, and how little we can play around with identity. The ideas of masculinity and femininity pushed by society are so connected to certain sexes, so any femininity seen in one born male, and theyre not respected. Any masculinity in one born female, and its almost alarming. Im not so firm on that idea, but recently ive seen a very masculine butch on my insta feed. Not my thing since... im not a lesbian, but most videos are them (sorry idk their pronouns) poking fun at everyones disbelief that someone born female would want to take testosterone and look like a traditional man, but isnt actually one?!?! wow! who knew butches are actual butches and not a slighter buffer and heteronormative woman... so yeah, people are alarmed. Anyways, with disrepect to femininity, transmen arent seen as real men by typically cis men, since they were connected to femininity(which the cis automatically tie to the female sex), so they arent taken seriously... and femboys or feminine men arent respected. Theyre seen as attractive (to some men, most of which have internalized homophobia), but are born a man and have male parts, and are also... expressing themselves as feminine, ie weak... so theyre disrespected both as a man and as a feminine being.

I dont actually know where im getting with this. I guess its just rambling about the lack of identity and expression in society. thx for reading

I don't have anything really to add onto to this. But things like this are always funny. We can only hope that it'll get better in the next couple of generations. I'm sure it will.
