Soooo I don't know what new games I'm gonna start playing because I definitely don't wanna be on Roblox while all this drama is going on. For those who don't know: A Youtuber named Schlep(I think that's the right spelling my apologies if it's wrong) has been finding predators on Roblox and getting them arrested. Sounds like a good thing, right?(The arresting the predators part for clarification) Roblox doesn't think so. Roblox has banned Schlep's account and made statements saying Schlep's team is a group of vigilanties that to sum it up force adults on Roblox into innapropriate things while pretending to be kids. Which is wrong. Schlep and his team pretend to be kids on the platform and wait to be interacted with innapropriately. They are not luring in innocent adults. They are catching predators. Oh by the way this is a little unrelated but I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes as they might make the matter seem less serious. But yeah anywho thankfully not everyone is stupid and the issues with Roblox have actually been discussed on the news. Hopefully either Roblox gets terminated, hires a new CEO that genuinely cares about children's safety more than money, or the game recieves gigantic changes. I'm hoping for that last one or the second one because Roblox honestly is a great platform where you can play anything from a roleplay game to an obby to a horror game and anything in between and I will be very sad if all those games made by good people who worked hard on them are lost forever. DISCLAIMER THAT I FORGOT TO ADD EARLIER: This information is just the tip of the iceberg and basically only a summary of what's happening so please do not let this offend you because yesssss I know Roblox has features to protect its child players but the features suck and that's just a fact man. Honestly people get banned more for whenever they buy an item then the price goes up then the item gets deleted than anything else. On another note, I once got banned for saying "dang" in chat. What's funny is that the players who get reported from multiple people for innapropriate behavior get a free pass for some reason. In summary, Roblox's recent actions have caused me to firmly believe they are protecting predators as long as it keeps their wallet full.

This is honestly such a unexpected rant, but i completely agree w u. The fact that roblox is marketed as a game thats ok for children to be on, they really dont seem to be protecting these children. What makes it worse is the fact that i think roblox wanted to add a “dating feature”.
So…. they claim to be a app/game for children, but they also acknowledge the fact that of the adult players? + want to advertise to them too? they dont even bother with the amount of holes in their system, or try to fix any problems . Oh one thing too, the fact that game devs can link their discords is so insane to me. Discord is a really REALLY infamous app for the amount of pdfs or weird.. ppl on there. Not a great combo for a kids game…
(SORRY FOR THE RANT) just wanted to say that ur so valid for not wanting to play roblox unless smth changes ^_^;;;;
