Recently I've been getting many friend requests from users who all have the same following 'about me':
"I'm a digital artist specializing in visual storytelling, character design, and aesthetic-driven illustration. My work is influenced by both contemporary digital trends and timeless art fundamentals. I’m passionate about pushing creative boundaries, whether through personal projects, commissions, or collaborations. I use art as a way to explore identity, narrative, and emotion always evolving, always creating."
THIS IS A SCAM!
DO NOT INTERACT WITH THESE ACCOUNTS!
All of their info, from their interests to who they want to meet - all of it is the same AI-like text, and it's concerning how many friends these people have. When you accept their friend request, they try to have a normal convo with you, but then later on tell you their dog is sick and they need "urgent pay work", which is obviously not true. They then tell you they'll "be your woman", which they obviously will just block or ghost you when you've paid.
The scam may differ (I'm not sure, I've only interacted with one of these) but it's the same formatting and the same scam. ANYONE WHO ASKS YOU TO PAY THEM IS LIKELY A SCAMMER! THIS SHOULD BE COMMON SENSE, WHY DO THEY HAVE SO MANY FRIENDS?!
This is obviously a scam, but I just want to spread awareness cause I already know someone's bound to fall for it. I don't know if it has already existed for a while but I've just noticed it. Also, when they link "their" X account (idk which artist has ever called twitter fucking 'x' lmfao), don't believe it, doesn't matter how realistic it seems.

Why would someone even ask people here for money? This place isn't the easiest to scam others. In my opinion it's actually dumb to even try and get money from someone here. No one will fall for that and no one will give people money here without a real reason. :P
honestly, the scammers may be stupid but some people are even are stupider...

Most people here are teenagers to young adults and know scams too well
yeah most people here aren't new to the internet but ngl some of these profiles have like hundreds of friends and that's pretty concerning...
it's not like these friends are botted or anything - they're real people, I friended one and it wasn't the same scam bs, just a regular dude, and that's not that great because that means there are hundreds of potential victims who've actually fallen for ts.
