Good advice from chuddie and tevo. I'll just add that refusing to listen to someone you disagree with, no matter how incorrect or evil they appear, will never make them less correct or more evil. Never allow yourself to become unwilling to listen to an opposing view.
I accually to this in other topics too

i would recommend reading a lot of books and debating people. apart from that just try not to fall for misinformation or let you emotions take precedence over rationality.
Thanks

no one has said anything... i feel bad LOL
i think the best advice someone could throw at you before anyone else is to remember EVERYONE IS BIASED, no exceptions, you kindof have to learn to think for yourself. This includes listening to people or reading things you might disagree with especially out of curiousity, which can be helpful because sometimes doing so either might help you learn something new and give you a second perspective OR further provide more reasons for why you disagree with someone and improve your arguments if someone decides to challenge your ideas. Don't stick to an ideology, the healthiest way to experience things is see the world in your eyes and eventually figure out what you believe is right for yourself.
Also, keep in mind that a lot of jargon (especially left/right, marxism, democracy, capitalism) can sometimes have their definitions misunderstood by people or be used ambiguously. Political philosophy being a very thinking about thinking kind of thing, this is kind of prone to happen...
My best advice is to:
Read. Books.
Listen. To. People.
And important of all,
Learn. History.
(so mistakes aren't repeated)
And question everything you see, how, when, what, and why. Try to find the most specific details possible if your curiosity leads you to it, especially with history.
Sorry if this is a lot but this is the kind of mindset you need entering these kinds of ideas if you want to avoid being stuck in an echo chamber... lol
Thank you so much!
