Something a teacher taught me.

Hi. I have kept this brilliant life lesson that I got, private for now. But now I wish to share it, in hopes it would give someone else hope and a spark, like it did for me.

We had a new teacher for one week at the start of this year. Old guy with loads of life stories. Something specific that he taught us really stuck with me. 

Dreams. Not the ones you see at night. I´m talking about the things YOU dream of happening in your life. It could be anything. Attending your fav bands concert, meeting your idol, getting into a school, getting the main role in a musical, you name it. 

Let´s jump in my shoes for a second. Me, idolizing Ville Valo. A huge fan of him. (if you don´t know who that is, google it). Dreaming of meeting him one day. It would be my biggest dream to hug him and talk with him. Then, this teacher comes, and with huge gestures explains: 

"if you REALLY want something, you. must. believe. in. it. Believe, that it will happen, because I. WANT. IT. TO. HAPPEN."

The words "because I want it." really sunk into my heart and soul. I started believing, "I WILL meet Ville Valo, because I WANT IT TO HAPPEN."

I wrote the teacher a letter about it, thanking him.

A few months go by, and guess what. I´m just at a park in Helsinki with my dad on about, and Ville Valo walks right from infront of me. I ask if I may bother him for a moment. 

I get my long desired hug, photo and chat with him. 

All because I believed in myself. It´s still so amazing to me, and I have a hard time believing how perfectly the universe treated me. I wouldnt call it manifesting, but something about it just... bamboozles me.

I talked with the teacher today, and he said he SCREAMED when I sent him the picture of me and Ville. He said he showed my letter to all his friends and wife.

I really hope the words "because I want it" can set up a spark in someone else too. And if you read all the way here, thank you. I may be young, but I have alot of stories and stuff about life up my sleeve. If anyone wishes to hear more, let me know. I´ll gladly share stuff I´ve learnt, heard and experienced :)
