Okay, like my earlier blog post, I'll be putting my favourite VBS commissions per member. Please note that I haven't listened to many of their commissions, most being Akito's, so I apologize if my view on the other's commissions aren't too accurate!
AZUSAWA KOHANE.
ULTRA C - I'm a big fan of ULTRA C and it's Vivid colours! Overall theme icluding the cards is giving nightlife, partying, champagne, roulette... you name any fun nightlife activity. Everyone sounds hyped, and if you listen— Akito and Toya sing "Go all ooooooooooooooooooouuuuutttt!!" differently!
hm: Hitsuji Ga Ippiki/ One Sheep - Listening to the instrumental, I got hooked by the sounds of seemingly cheers from a crowd during the chorus. Card-wise it isn't my favourite. But I still listen to it.
SHIRAISHI AN.
Retainer Supplanting His Lord - Of course, I don't think this song is many people's favourite. But, I joined during the time of this event (Light up the fire) and I love the instrumental. I don't listen to it as much but still a hit to me!
hm: Rekka - Yet again, I can only remember a short preview of this song, but it isn't bad! Card-wise it's a lot better, I love it. But why did the event name change? Whip the wimp girl!! is a lot more memorable (imo) than Whip yourself into shape!!
SHINONOME AKITO.
Fuel - I genuinely love this song. I'm listening to it as of writing this. I love how Akito used a more.. growl-like style into his voice, Toya's tone is deeper, An has this bite to it and Kohane is sweet but not in a cute way. I also love the metal instrumental. Perfect. It's the same vibe as BITE ME by AJ dispirito and Zepphyrianna to me.
hm: CRAZY - I know I'll sound crazy for this, but I love this song. The instrumental is great, and Kohane's singing hooked me. It's lovely. The VA's were told to "sing sexier" which worked with this song well!
AOYAGI TOYA.
Blender - It's such a chill, relaxingly calm song compared to say... ULTRA C or Fuel. Very nice to listen during long car rides.. or car rides in general. I love the harmonisation, and Kohane's soft tone was made use of! Meiko's tuning and voice was needed, because An's voice isn't deep enough. I feel like there's a slight echo or fade out in the lines? And the jazz is beautiful, very elegant and classy. I'm listening to it right now, instead of ruining my hearing with Fuel. This is a refreshing breath of air from the usual style, and ToyaHane really shine here, Kohane's voice being a bit deeper now. Akito doesn't get many lines, but it's understandable!! I love when Kohane harmonises with Toya. I'm a Toyahane shipper btw...
hm: BAD DOGS - More of a usual for VBS, pretty expected to have something like this. But Toya's voice is still really good. Other than that, I don't have many opinions on this song.
