I HATE AI!!!

Picture this,

Im sat at my table, looking for something to watch while I eat my Buldak noodles, when i stumble on a new Jarvis Johnson video about AI. The video is about people marrying AI and I know its gonna be great so i start watching, and what do I get? A FREAKING AI AD!!!!

I realize this reads like one of those weird 1D Imagines but I had to paint a picture.

I got (at least) 3 AI ads in the first 10 minutes of the video; It was a Wix ad and some other website designing company, and ChatGPT. I understand this is probably more because the video is about AI, even if it is painting it in a negative light.

Now I understand the impacts AI has on the environment, and believe me it enrages me that people still choose to use it but that is not why i'm so upset rn.

My current qualm with AI in every aspect of media is its constant looming presence. Its always around like a creepy little stalker. No matter where I am or what i'm doing i'm being advertised "helpful" AI tools. Even on a video about how horrible AI is ITS ALWAYS THERE! Every app I used to love, Instagram, Snapchat, Duolingo, and even the app I used to edit my photos has an AI feature now. Its upsetting to see the AI trend spread like a disease through every app until it becomes completely unavoidable.

Now i've never made a website, i've never needed to, but I imagine it is an extremely creative process. Its upsetting to me how a process that is designed to show people who you are and what your brand is all about is being turned into a quick five word prompt that produces the most cold, uninteresting, website you've ever been on. 

I see this as a downfall in humanity as we know it. People are getting more lonely choosing AI over real interaction; People are being accused of using AI for art or for school even if they haven't because it's getting better and better every day. And people are being bombarded with ads from their favourite apps, that used to be helpful or creative, that are announcing a "new AI feature". WE DON'T WANT THIS. I mean i'm sure red pilled incel morons would love to flirt with AI "women" on ChatGPT because no sane woman would get within 40m of them. and i'm sure people with no passion or patience love being able to steal from millions of other artists and "create art"; "Art" that is devoid of life, and feeling, and the things that we as a society have cultivated over thousands of years. Art is interesting because of our history and our emotions, but yeah leave it to the AI that could never fully understand the scope of human emotions to make it. 

Companies are jumping at the chance to kill our earth and remove everything that is sacred from our society, and we're all falling for it because it makes life easier. 

Life is supposed to be challenging, imagine if everyone could make art as good as Picasso or write soliloquies as good as Shakespeare; Art is good because its unique and challenging, it's personal to the artist.

Growing up I loved learning, I love being challenged with new ideas and struggling to understand concepts like astrophysics that are so vast and complicated. Now have you ever talked to someone who uses ChatGPT for everything? I can't even imagine how they function in society, without one original thought or opinion. It upsets me, genuinely angers me, how these people who use Chat GPT for work or school; When there are people like me and many others who actually challenge our brains. I am not very smart but i actually try to learn new ideas, and make good arguments in conversation or essays. These pea brain people use AI to get good grades or promotions while people who actually care about learning get overlooked.

I understand there are barriers to learning, and that I may be a little harsh on people who use ChatGPT, but not using your brain is never the solution.

I know i'm not the only one who feels this way, I just wish everyone could see how AI is literally making people so stupid.
