Fanfiction brainstorming

I've been thinking of a few different ideas for my next fanfiction, I like writing Pepsicola fanfics but I feel like I've read so many I'm completely out of ideas so I'll just be using the blog entries as a notepad more or less.

one of the ideas I have is putting John and Dave in the position of the lovers from the Trisha Yearwood song "Shes in Love With the Boy". I love that song and Dave is southern enough so I feel like it could work, plus John having a protective cockblocking dad is a really funny idea to me
