why is the world obsessed with "CHILD SAFETY" lately? child safety in the 'give me all of your personal information so that i can sell it' way, not the 'moderate your game if children are your audience' way.
my tinfoil hat has fused to my scalp, so i'm theorizing that something bigger is planned, and they're just trying to make sure nobody they can't identify can talk about it. will we all be relegated to 4chan, eventually....?
either way, we'll identify the idiots among us when their IDs are leaked in the inevitable data breaches.

Because "think of the children" is a good way to fool the masses into thinking that being controlled and having your data harvested for possibly very shady purposes a "good" thing if they think it's supposed to be "protecting" the children.
You'd think people should've learned something about cybersecurity and how big brother is always watching you on the web by now when Edward Snowden exposed the NSA's secrets back in 2013. But sadly, that's not the case.

locking down the internet is a good idea (for them) if war with Russia starts, but i think thats very unlikely. it's more likely they are locking it down because people are more privy to the way western nations have been hijacked. more people are talking about mass immigration, israel genociding palestinians, AIPAC, etc. free flow of information is the greatest threat for tyrannical govs
