Summer vacation twenty twenty five

For the month of July it was really great. I was focusing on writing and my website throughout the month. It was mostly earlier this month. I will be writing in a new journal in about two weeks. And continue on with poetry writing. For independence day it was okay. I stayed inside and seen festivities on television. I also seen fire works outside my window. It was a relaxing day. I went on summer vacation with my mom,sisters and nephew. Before leaving for the trip we talked with our brother over the phone. He has been doing okay. During that time had other important plans to get done. Later in the day on July sixteenth I was preparing to pack for the trip to Georgia. A few hours before we went to walmart to get some items for the trip. We got a few necessities including bottled water and snacks. I didn't get any travel sized items. Instead I bought my full sized items along with me. I was excited to go on a trip overall. My family and I were getting our traveling items ready. I didn't have a suitcase. Instead I had two large duffel bags to carry along with my purse and a reusable carry bag. I also had my portable phone charger. I made sure my phone was charged before the trip. Actually It was my first time traveling out of state. I thought it was a good experience. By four am we were on the road headed there. My mom went along with her friend on the trip. My youngest sister was also in the car with them. I rode inside my oldest sister suv car along with my nephew. Therefore there were two different vehicles traveling on the road. The first break stop was at a Vero beach wawa. I stretched my legs once out of the car. Although I did have plenty of leg room. It was the fact of being inside the car for close to three hours. I'm referring to the first break stop. While at wawa I only went to get a styrofoam cup of ice. We stayed there for about ten minutes. That was understandable since there were going to be two more break stops to make. I don't recall feeling drowsy while on the road. I remember seeing Florida souvenirs and citrus shop signs on interstate ninety five. At that particular point I knew we were headed out of the state. Then I saw the Georgia welcome sign. We stopped at en market for gasoline. This was several minutes after arriving in Georgia. In two hours we were at our destination there. We stayed in a rural area near Swainsboro. It was definitely a different experience for seven days. One thing noticeable was the heated summer weather. We stayed cool inside with the air conditioners inside. We have seen corn fields, pear trees and yellow squash. I saw cows and bulls along with horses and deer. I didn't see any peach trees with peaches on them. I did wanted to see a peach tree while there. Maybe next time for that matter. I liked the change of scenery with the Georgia landscape. The red clay soil was great to see up close. We went to Augusta mall in the city area. I had fried rice with teriyaki chicken for lunch. My mom and youngest sister also had lunch there. My oldest sister and nephew had lunch at a Japanese restaurant. My mom's friend showed us around the area. We appreciated his help since we wasn't familiar to the area. This was on July nineteen at five pm. I didn't quite get any souvenirs while there. I would want to get one for next time. A key chain or ceramic cup would have been nice to get as a souvenir. Throughout the trip we went to dunkin donuts three times. On different days of course. I tried a large blueberry breeze refresher the first time which was okay. It's not my favorite as I thought it would be. I remember having a refresher drink similar to it a few years back. I usually don't get large sized drinks. It's been always medium sized. I thought why not change up every once in awhile. We also went to two different walmart locations. It looks the same as the Florida locations. Although that was expected in a way. I bought earphones while at the second location. I was listening to music later in the day. We also went to dollar general to get a few items. I could say there's plenty of locations in Georgia. We went to publix supermarket once as well. I'm really familiar with publix. Another store we shopped at was kj market. I thought it was a good store based on going there three times. For dinner one night we had fried red snapper fish with fries. I thought it was a great dinner. I like seafood cuisine types of meals. We also spent a few hours in South Carolina. That was five days before the Georgia trip was over. I could say we have technically visited two different states. Majority of the time being spent in Georgia. My mom visited quite a few times before. It was my sisters, nephew and I first time visiting those states. The summer heat is definitely different there. It was noticeable throughout the trip. We kept cool by cups of ice and bottled water. I once had a orange gatorade drink while in Georgia. I don't get gatorade often. I needed extra electrolytes on that particular day. Towards the last few days of the trip we went to krispy kreme donuts. I thought it was okay despite how the donuts were shaped kind of oval inside of circle shaped. I just thought it was amusing. My sisters also pointed that out along with my nephew. My mom thought it was okay. We left Georgia during four am. I would like to visit there again. I like the scenery and buildings along with landscape. We made three break stops before heading back home. My mom, youngest sister and I were home first. Then my oldest sister and nephew arrived back home minutes later. We spent two days resting at home. I didn't went out for two days. At the time there wasn't any important errands to get done. Therefore it was an easy decision to make. On July twenty ninth we went to visit the cemetery for dad's birthday. He would have been sixty five years old. We wanted to get a mini birthday balloon. Instead we picked a mini football balloon since there wasn't any birthday balloons available. I remember dad's favorite sport being football. He liked the Miami Dolphins football team along with Florida State. It's currently the last day of July in twenty twenty five. I've seen some stores with fall merchandise already on display. Time is going by quickly with this year. It was a random thought of mine while at the dollar store yesterday ago. I hope that everyone had an okay month.
