For majority of my life, I dreaded the thought of working at a fast food place, mainly because I was afraid of mishearing orders in the drive thru, which limited my previous job searches by a LOT. I talked to my sister about it, who has worked at a McDonald's in the past, and she said working the register wasn't bad, and she was able to hear the customer pretty well. So I mustered up the courage (pun intended) and applied at a Burger King near me.
Hopefully they take the time to read my application. I'm pretty sure they don't have many employees, so maybe they'll accept me in for an interview. I'm also a tad nervous about the interview, but I already wrote down my strengths and weaknesses on a note to memorize it. Besides, I've seen some videos explaining the POS system, and it seems pretty straight-forward, other than some meal combos and specialty items.
Wish me luck guys, I gotta get some employment skills in!
