when I was like 19 and I was studying my former university degree, I used to literally ONLY eat junk food. I filled my body with pizzas, burgers, gummies, pastries (medialunas iykyk) and all kinds of greasy or sugary stuff.
Of course I gained weight and looked TERRIBLE but leaving that aside, I felt so bloated, heavy and tired and well, it was hell overall, my own body was BEGGING me to stop.
So I started dieting to lose the extra kilos, but I ended up liking (?) eating healthy, like, I guess I just built the habit of having a balanced diet and having fun making and decorating my dishes.
And I learned that I can still have that delicious junk food and still have a good eating habits (i discovered the wheel I know).
I lost the extra weight and still enjoy my healthy stuff afterwards, I'm kinda proud of that!!!
Last week I visited my friend in another city, I stayed for 6 days and of course we ate A LOT. The thing is that I found myself missing my oats and my salads, like thinking "I can't wait to eat scrambled eggs with avocado!!!".
It was the best detox ever, a big win for the girls community.
