To my knowledge, the Spotify CEO is a bad person. He's involved in a company that is making AI drones? I never paid for Spotify Premium and I'm okay with the ads lmao. Idk if I'm still putting money in his pocket since I'm not giving money anyway? I'm so confused.
I have discovered so much with this app so idk.

You are putting money in his pockets by listening to the ads. There are soo many other ways to discover music though. A way I find fun is by looking at user-made playlists on youtube!
I know there are other ways to discover !! I said I discovered like in past tense. And yes I use YouTube all the time but they are with Google so I guess there is no winning either way 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ .

Ah there is surely a way to win but it must be much less convenient haha. If someone fully dissociates themselves from all these big companies, I'd definitely admire them.

Surely. What I meant is that there is no winning under capitalism. Unfortunately I'm a person who still uses stuff from big companies and small ones. I won't only result to smaller ones cus that's just not me. I make sure they haven't done anything bad though.
