my trip to the doctor

i went to my first doctor's appointment since turning 18! yay!

i actually felt scared about it because it was very unexpected and my chronic illness had been acting up for days. I had no clue if i'd even make it, but I powered through. I went in by myself for the first time, and i was expecting my regular doctor (an elderly woman), but instead this young guy and a student doctor (also a man) came in. now, this is totally in my head and I have no valid reason for this, but I tend to feel distrustful of male doctors, especially young ones, and I feel bad because I have an expressive face and just by the tone of my voice when I spoke, I knew this doctor knew I was nottt happy to see him. he was a lovely doctor though and I was able to get over my discomfort quickly. I'm trying something new for my chronic illness, I hope it helps me get everything under control. I'm seeing the same doctor for my follow-up and I hope to be friendlier to him next time haha. 

topic jump, but I also applied for a job at a pizza place! i'm not the most excited about it, but any job is good, really. I applied for a small ice cream shop in my area and I was much more excited about that, but they never called me back. bleh.
