Is this a hot take?

IS this a hot take? Whenever you misgender someone on purpose you are actively harming the trans community. Now, I'm not trans myself, but I feel like when you misgender someone on purpose you invalidate their existence completely. You can use Lily Tino as an example. I'm pretty sure everyone has seen the drama with Peyton, and the whole misgendering and "bring back bullying" videos of his. Now I never liked Peyton myself, I always found him hella annoying and his voice pissed me off, and it got to a high point when he started making video out Lily. Now Lily Tino is a super controversial person, and I don't support her in any way, but just actively misgendering her normalizes it, which in turn causes a lot of non controversial people to get misgendered purposefully online. Now I heard a lot of takes on this, but for me personally, when you completely invalidate one person, no mattering who they are, you are in a way harming the community. Yes this person should be called out but in a way that still respects them
