why did having a crush literally make me act lobotomized??

like i just now realized this but this all happened like 5 weeks ago or something 

so i'm in this dnd (dungeons and dragons) group and i had a crush on the dm(the guy who makes the story and stuff for our characters to interact with) and he knew this and we were in a kinda like talking stage?? for a while but its over now

but like we had these new people come into the group one day and we were all kinda hanging out because half of the players didn't come so the new people had to make their characters

and it was a girl and boy who came they're brother and sister

and the sister seemed really cool like we both liked the same badns and stuff and we were just talking and i also had brought gum in that day because we bring like snacks and stuff

but i was glad we were getting along and like she was really nice and stuff 

so she took a piece of gum and then she made the wrapper into like a little heart and gave it to me and i thought that was so sweet like omg thats adorable we're like friends now

and she said she did cheerleading so my mind immediately just assumed she was straight so whenever she was like sitting really close to me and stuff i kinda just thought it was a straight girl thing and she's just friendly

and now thinking back im pretty sure she was hitting on me but she doesn't come to dnd anymore so i might never know 😭
