Sometimes, I hear a song that someone likes and I think its pretty hard on my ears but I usually just chalk it out as something that I personally don't like. Everyone has their own taste and no 2 people are the same but I wonder sometimes if there is genuinely bad music taste, Bad music exists ofc because there's no good without bad..
But is there a genre out there that everyone can agree is trash and that people who like it have "bad music taste"?

music is sooooo subjective that someones favorite songs or genres can be consitered bad but that wont change the fact that they still enjoy it. so i think its all personal preference since everyone is different and likes different music! so i basicaly think no, theres not a such thing as "bad music taste" since everyone will think something different about everyones music taste.

I think propaganda music falls into this category. Songs with strong ideological messages make it hard to enjoy the sound purely for what it is.
I agree on the propaganda part but sometimes songs with subliminal meanings can be enjoyed more when you're in the know in my opinion!
