local loser goes to a local indie concert

about three(ish) weeks ago i got to go see the friendship bracelet tour with a friend and my GOD it was amazing. the artists playing were brianna carmel, the reverent marigold, the last arizona, everybody's worried about owen, and june henry. if you're at all into folk or folk punk, i HIGHLY recommend looking into all of these artists!!! the venue was rlly small and rlly cozy and welcoming. very healing in a way lol.

the main reason i'm making this blog is bc i was relistening to nunemaker's swingset - an absolutely STUNNING album btw - and just. relistening to introducing jonah to the whale brought me back immediately to that show. and that moment. genuinely just what a beautiful set. maybe i'm just a little too nostalgic for junior year but hearing that song live felt like a religious experience LMAO. and i got to actually talk to owen after their set and they were so cool and nice :) anyway yes this is my monthly 5am post i hope everyone who read this has a v good day
