i just got my own laptop for the first time in years and oh my god ive been missing out. i did get a 3ds when i was 16 and tbh oot and especially majora's mask raised my standards incredibly, but i've been able to access stuff now i could've only dreamt about. nothing exceptional, but i wanted to be able to play half life or dmc or portal or re2 for years and now they're in my steam library waiting for me? doesn't even feel real.
i also finally played undertale the right way. is it an origianl experience to have played it when you were like 10 and a complete idiot who killed toriel on their first run bc they didnt know she could actually die? anyway, im so glad i replayed it. i havent even gotten past omega flowey. the soundtrack of asriel's fight made my toes curl in determination
