This is a load of BULL. SHIT. I swear if one of those diseased MAGA snifflers come up to me and say to my face that this bill is fair, I’m gonna literally curb stomp them. I by no means have an opinion on presidency (besides hating presidents. Low ley hate all of them), but I definitely have an opinion on what should and should not be allowed to go through. This is definitely a SHOULD NOT. I personally have never been to the dentist because my parents literally could not afford dental insurance
(Even with the perks of having a veteran dad. Mind you: I’m turning sixteen in 21 days, that’s concerning). So what does this tell you about the state of this mf country?? ITS GOING TO SHIT!!!! Not to mention, I’m super prone to cancer because of my ‘totally wonderful’ genes :v. Most of my family members have passed away from it, and I can only imagine how the people with cancer right at this very moment feel. My heart goes out for them and I truly hope they recover. As for the tax stuff, it’s just so so stupid. Like omfg. Just stop. I literally live in an area where poverty is pretty common (I literally live next to thw trailer park)

I genuinely feel bad for the maga ppl too. Like THEY’RE THE ONES who are getting the most help from these social programs and this is literally who they voted for. It DIRECTLY harms them and they don’t even have the survival instinct to try and just like continue existing god it sucks so bad but what can we do about it?

It’s unfortunate, but it’s actually a human phenomena and is tied strongly to human psychology as to why they’re so strong on keeping their opinions, even if it hurts them. It’s so weird how humans work. I just hope this blows over (and likely it will because oftentimes the election goes from democrat to republican over and over again, so my biggest assumption is that we’re getting democrat next year unless trump does that weird ass overriding non-constitutional bs.

Perhaps. I do share some of her ideals, although I can’t vote and I’m really not a fan of any political figures at all (I don’t really plan to vote anyway unless my or anyone else’s rights are at stake).

OOH YEAH OK WAIT the current democrats I genuinely don’t like alllll that much but like Zohran Mamdani and AOC and Bernie sanders are the ones who I feel pretty good getting behind. I feel like electing older moderate dems who keep trying for this “move to the center to get more voters” plan is just a bit stupid. The whole point of progressivism is to look forward, to try and combat the creep of totalitarianism by regulating monopolies with anti trust, using social safety nets and social reform to give the working poor a fighting chance and that can’t be done by trying to just stand around and not do anything just leaving everything to the status quo. And genuinely? Republican policies MIGHT also work im not fighting that it’s just if they’re going to cut tax they should give tax breaks to the middle class. If they’re against big spending they should cut back on the military. If they want smaller government they should try giving more of the rights back to the states on issues like immigration control.
