Happy Pride

Happy last day of pride, remember those who fought before us so we could be here today, so that we could say our pronouns, so that we could put our preferred names on forms, so that we could wear our keychains, pins & makeup, so that we could put those stickers on our books, so that we could hold their hand in public, so that we can kiss them, so we have the opportunity to live without a fear of shame, so that we could change a label on our IDs. So that we could live as we are.

The work queers fought & died for, the rights bricks were thrown for, the rights lives were lost for are getting undone everyday, the rights thousands of lives lost for us and a thousand more will are being taken from us. or maybe we or you never had them in the first place.

Fight for our future, fight for your future. Things will get better if we put our minds to it, don't ever give up because another life lost is another bigot's win.

Queerness is beautiful, don't ever forget that.
