why is the internet trying to make masturbation a bad thing?? Or like something that we should be ashamed of??? Like, not only ur supposed to do that on period for pain relief and lesser clots but also most humans (and zombie kitties), just like, have needs????? Okay someone's asexual, I have nothing against it, but like, it isn't neither degenerative or "XDDD GOONER BEHAVIOR 🤣🤣🤣"to touch yourself, like, unless ur watching some fucked up shit or doing it every day 99% there's nothing wrong with you. Or if you're a kid, obviously, I think that anyone under 16 shouldn't engage in that.
It's literally a need like eating or sleeping or peeing, no you won't like, die from not touching yourself, but you also won't die from being unloved and love is a human need too. Like...adult people do adult people things. And there's nothing shameful about their bodies functioning. Being asexual is not like, the base norm and anyone who isn't asexual is bad. Like, uh, like I said, I couldn't care less if someone's asexual or not, good for them, but like, not everyone is, and there's nothing wrong with it either.
It sucks a lot cause teens now will be hearing about GOONER GOONER GOONER and then think there's something wrong with them later in life because they'll get horny :/

This is a very silly take to a non-existent issue lol. No adult ever shuns masturbation, TOO MUCH masturbation is the thing that is usually shunned since it can fry your brain from constant dopamine overdoses, making it way harder for you to feel joy

I think there is nothing wrong with touching yourself in private in and of itself. But I think there is a big problem now days with how certain things that some people watch can be accessed so easily by anyone at anytime. I think its sad how you have many young people accessing these things who shouldn't be accessing them. And I hate how prevalent it is to watch certain things under age yet its still very much taboo. Because of that you only really see people on the internet talk about this issue. And also I think the way that these videos are distributed is sad. You have a billion dollar company that virtually runs the whole industry, that has done some very immoral things before. And where I live its illegal for someone to buy it from a shop on a DVD yet some 15 year old can just go ahead and watch it online for free. Its also sad how a lot of people think they need these things to touch themselves. I mean if your of age and have a healthy relationship with that stuff power to you, but the amount of people under 18 that I know who have admitted to watching that stuff is sad. I hope one day things will get better. Maybe making touching yourself less taboo and getting rid of the stigma that you need something other than your body to do that will help lessen these issues. And I also think people need to be taught that their bodies are special and worth something. Because I think some people think their bodies aren't worthy of being treated the way they wish they could treat themselves.

Oh, definitely. This debate on porn is the whole reason why the sex wars started.
I have a complicated outlook on porn. I don't like it as a concept or as an industry, but I don't feel I have the right to hinder ethical sexual expression. Yes, ethical.
The industry should start being ethical and mindful of the effects of its lobbying in our culture.
We need the sex workers to be protected by the law, and we need the people to learn that porn is just entertainment and never a replacement for pleasure, real life sex, and connection.

firstly, no. it is TOTALLY normal to masterbate at under 16 and most people start at ages of 10 or so (not regularly of course, only exploring)
