I'm so fucking excited to go to this. I can't wait. I'm going with my cousin, Rei. We're going to see a friend of our Solace and his mom there?? And I'm so happy that people I know and I surround myself with are going to this. It makes me believe that even in my small republican town has a chance of change. it makes me believe that this town and country as it is has a chance of change. It makes me believe that I can help make a change. It's what I've wanted since I could have a thought. I've wanted to fight for what I believed to be right since I was young. I've ALWAYS wanting to be a lawyer SO I could make a change. I wanted to be a law maker when I was younger. Growing up where I did and how I did and around the people I did opened my mind a LOT. I was taught my rights and wrongs and what to fight for and how to do it. Ever since a ICE detention facility opened in my fucking town I have been SO much more open on my political views and how to keep yourself safe. My friends will not live in fear for finding somewhere and living somewhere that promised them safety and freedom. It is disgusting.
Going to the No Kings Protest tomorrow.

I haven't heard of that event yet but it's probably because I'm Australian-- make sure you research how to attend stuff like that safely :-) face covers, protective gear, medical aids is all really important, especially when the police are being as violent and impulsive as they are. Hope it goes well for U !!!!!
