the situation with israel and iran has escalated dramatically. i hate america and the way we fund israel to do war crimes and genocidal actions without impunity. i wish we would pull out of every country we have a military base in. this current moment feels very significant just like october 7th. the fact that out state media/israel is saying that this war will end "in two weeks" is a horrific sign. normally when states say these kinds of things, the escalation of violence and disaster lasts so much longer. i dont want to bomb countries, i dont want to send weapons or military technology. im currently watching hasan's twitch stream since i like what kind of topics that he covers daily. the fact that our foreign policy is so blood thirsty makes me sick to my stomach.

anti-ice protests have broken out across the country, especially in places like los angeles, new york city, chicago, miami, and many other cities. im so proud of people with conscience and i hope to assist the fight against ice. they are such a racist organization. when i found out that im only like a year younger than the inception of ice, i was very surprised. we've lived without ice before as people and a country, we can be fine without them again. in a few days, there are supposed to be nationwide protests against trump and his administration which have been wreaking havoc on the united states and the world alike. these also coincide with trump's scheduled military parade in washington dc for his birthday celebration (ew). im worried for the safety of organizers and protestors. we've seen before where the president or governor's of state utilize the national guards against resistance. trump unlawfully took control and sent national guard members to los angeles. local california ghoul gavin newsom is pushing back against this, but many people know he does not have the best interests of californians at heart.

i haven't attended any pride parades or celebrations this year. im feeling kinda lonely and starved of being in a queer environment. but pride is a protest. everything having to do with resistance against fascism is queer as fuck. we continue to fight for our rights as a community, but also fight for the rights of others, even those of us who have intersecting identities.

people all over are resisting trump in their own ways, but i think we can do so much more and be more strategic in our methods. there is no time for capitulating to the right and trying to readopt or defend flying the genocidal american flag. we've been so far away from that point. the feckless shameless politicians who are doing nothing in response to this administrations actions are bipartisan and an inevitable failure on the design of our political system. no more listening to awful republicans and democrats alike. dont listen to centrists who fake neutrality and the vision of seeing both sides. no more entertaining liberals and their inaction as well as useless critique of movements. we need to go farther.

unfortunately when the madleen freedom flotilla arrived into waters just outside of gaza, the israeli occupation forces detained all 12 people aboard the ship. some of the activists signed the papers and are being deported back to their home countries. there are a few more militant and disciplined activists who refused to cooperate with israel and were arrested for it. may they be released as soon as possible. along with the many aid ships who are trying to break the sea blockade of aid and supplies across gazas coast, there is a global march to gaza on its way. they picked up people starting in libya and tunisia, and started walking and heading to the rafah crossing in egypt to break the land blockade. its been reported that the egyptian military have been taking passports of people and trying to forcibly deport them back. the time for intervention against the apartheid and genocide of palestine is so far past. it is up to us as citizens of the world to resist and make sure our governments are acting with morality and (hopefully) international law. we have seen that the notion of international law and justice is a joke parading around in a global solidarity mask. seeing so much injustice and bloodshed does things to peoples minds and hearts.

solidarity with my comrades across the world, who are all resisting fascism and injustice in their countries and abroad in their own ways. revolutionary optimism will get us through. power to all the people.
