talking about other stuff

hello people of this tiny laptop who have spacehey, it's-a-me, satellite!! damn yesterday was a rough day but i'm doing better rn, so let's talk about stuff going on recently

first of all, happy pride month!!! to the girls, gays and theys who make this world great!!

second, why does pride month feel so dry this year... i've been seeing marches (i wish i could go to one) and everything but like... idk, it feels different, probably bc suddenly every corporation turned against us (even opera gx and their photo of two men kissing) and you'll say "and why does it matter?" it matters to me bc the only safe space i have to be who i am is the internet and now all of a sudden there's a huge rise in homophobia and transphobia D: but well, i've been in the closet for 5 years now so i'm used to it lol

third, i never imagined being banned from entering in a country (the us) just bc i had the luck to be born in venezuela lol, mrc que culpa tengo yo de haber nacido en el mejor país del mundo mundial, el de las arepas, el beisbol, las hallacas, las mujeres bonitas, la gente cálida... pq al parecer ahora todos somos del tren de aragua JAJAJA (ojo sepan q lo del mejor país no es en serio ok, no se lo tomen a mal solo amo de donde vengo, lo jodido es el gobierno y la economía ajajaj)

being xenophobic is very fucked up, bc wdym you hate a whole demography just bc some of them do bad things... and now that i'm here in spain i've seen ppl being xenophobic to (mostly) moroccan ppl/african ppl in general. ppl don't seem to understand that correlation isn't equal to causes...

inmigrants travel and leave their families to search opportunities and a better life quality, i've been an inmigrant twice (i had the privilege to travel by plane but not everyone can afford that), i've been uncomfortable living in a single roomwith my family, i've lived xenophobia when i was just a kid, trying to adapt to a whole new culture (and i cannot imagine a whole new language), missing people i love... that's why i'll always support inmigration no matter what, you don't know how hard it is until you live it

and well, there goes my yapping about problems in the world recently, maybe tomorrow i'll yap a bit more about other stuff... and here's a cookie for reading too much lol (ˆڡˆ)◞🍪
