I know about the Rodney King riots of 1991. Sure, maybe justified, but the beating of a random trucker almost to death, destruction of thousands of dollars of property, and in turn, ruining community relations between one people and another (Koreans and African-Americans) wasn't really worth it in the long run. I don't think the ICE riots are worth it. It's terrible what the current administration has been doing, but destroying things, like cars, and making yourselves seem like violent delinquents, in my honest opinion, won't solve anything.
Now, granted, there's a lot of peaceful protesters in LA right now, too, so my prayers will be going out to everyone, I just hope bloodshed is avoided, is all.

Yeah it’s been like this with every major protest recently criminals hijack the protest and use it as an excuse to attack and destroy aimlessly. Also I’ve heard the argument that political violence helps change things, but change is still possible without it. Mlk and women’s right to vote are good examples of this

dont people resort to violent acts because they know being peaceful wont work though . like i get what you mean but i dont rly think anything will change if they all agree to just ask please very nicely
the people who view them as delinquents will keep their views no matter what they do so why not just give in into that anyway
