There are people who wish to go home to people and houses that are no longer here on earth and people whose lives are flashing before their eyes and other horrible situations I cant even begin to imagine. 

Look at the state of governments all across the globe. Look at the ethnic cleansing in Gaza, Ukraine, the DRC, etc. Trump in office and countless other dumb people who don't deserve the resources they have. Here in the Philippines we have the son of a dictator as president and 77th overall in academics according to the PISA 2022 results. The erasure of history, the climate crisis coming with horrible weather conditions and general corruption is just happening right now where ever you are. 

On the other hand there are so many people (including myself) living comfortable lives taking for granted the blessings and basic needs we are given. It's so dystopian. The commentary YouTubers, microtrends, endless "doom" scrolling, brainrot, consumerism, meaningless music, all art that is unreflective of the times, politicians(!!!!!), those ppl who are just handed all the damn opportunities they want without having to work an honest day in their lives fresh out the womb. People are also undereducated and unaware of what the hell is happening too. The continual consuming of the media we are fed. 

Im def not saying i am exempt from this. I dont want to sound self righteous. I'm an asian private school educated queer twat. If anything im being quite a hypocrite pointing these out but it's so just messed up. Somehow ive got to use my literacy for something ig?? I dont think im meant for things to change the whole entire world. I wanna help save lives and make them better by being a doctor, sure. But in the grand scheme of things... 

But basically what im trying to say it isn't possible with only one person putting in effort and the collective effort to make the world a better place is gonna need so much work if we want good futures.. idk how ill be able to do anything but i wont know if im not educated enough; if the majority of the world is not educated enough. 

WITH THIS IN MIND i learned in a 2 day camp and from my MUN friends what SGDs are. You've probably and HOPEFULLY heard of these but they're basically the main goals the world should be able to achieve by 2030 in order to maintain a "sustainable future." Please at least take a look at these, cs these are high-key very important.

TLDR; im pissed at the state of the world idk what to do but i hope you are updated and continue to be updated with the times.
